Thoughts on Whole Living

Be mindful of where you put your attention. The shape of your life will follow.

When you view your health as nonnegotiable, your priorities naturally shift.

Positive change starts with truth, & no one knows it better than you.

I was posting these thoughts pretty regular before, then got sidetracked with life. In going thru my saved documents, I found it again. Guess I should work on getting these out there again huh? They came from the back page of the Body & Soul magazines I was getting. Right now, the subscription has to expire since I can't afford to pay for another year right now. But, I have quite a few saved up to pull these thoughts from in the mean time. Enjoy.

Thoughts on Whole Living

Your body craves motion. Allow it to flow in harmony with your breath.
Instead of seeking love, see it – everywhere.
Greet every day with a ritual of gratitude & strength.
My body does crave motion. I wish I could get my mind to agree more often & actually do it. I'll work on that.
Seeing love everywhere. This might prove more difficult. But imagine if we all were to try this, even for a day.
Greeting each day with anything other than slamming the alarm clock is a good day. But so many of us dont get enough rest at night since we all try to do too much. Starting the day slowly, or even remembering to think of something other than the millions of things facing us each day, is tough.

Thoughts on Whole Living

When you indulge, stop to savor every taste.
Each day has its small successes – take time to celebrate them.
Beauty reflects self care. Let yourself glow.

I guess this would be some good stuff to listen to. Today, I have not listened at all.

Thoughts on Whole Living

Be straightforward. An honest response often trumps a clever one.
Discover new ways to share the things you love.
Worry breeds anxiety; intuition invites calm.

To read these really makes ya think. I often wonder how different our world would be if more people stopped to think.

Thoughts on Whole Living

I missed a couple days with the holiday weekend.

Learning to let go begins with understanding why you’ve been hanging on.
Do more than understand stress reduction; put it into practice.
There’s no way to grow without taking a few risks.

Thoughts on Whole Living

Food has the power to transform. Choose yours intentionally.
Let your soul weigh in on your decisions.
Don’t rush positive change. The best kind comes gradually.

Thoughts on Whole Living

On the back page of each issue of Body & Soul, there is a list of thoughts. As I went thru my pile of issues, tearing out pages of things I wanted so I could recycle the rest, I kept allot of these thoughts. I'm going to share them a few at a time, hopefully, daily.

Don’t wait until you have no room left in your day to breathe; make space right now.
Anger has a way of evaporating in the face of compassion.
Find pleasure in the simplest tasks.
