My Pendulums have been a huge focus in my life recently. Yes, that was plural. I have 2. I find myself using one when I am asking about personal things related to me, & my family & friends. I use the other one when I ask on behalf of a friend or if something is totally not personal. I can not exactly explain it, but I just know when to use which one. And if I'm in doubt, I'll ask them which I should be using.
With Mercury Retrograde in full swing right now, it has been an intense time for revisiting my queries from before MR began. I asked if during this time it was good to re-ask some questions. Oh yes. And would my answers be more accurate during MR? Oh yes, again. So, that is exactly what I have been doing, along with asking some new questions too.
I feel extremely connected to the pendulum. It feels so natural whenever I use it & I have since the first time I picked one up. Apparently, this is my gift for this lifetime. How do I know? I asked!
There have been some very interesting answers to my questions lately. When people or books tell you don't ask a question you don't want the answer to, they are not kidding. I got a couple answers last week that caught me totally off guard. Yeah ... so I will be careful in the future when I find myself drawn towards wanting to know things that maybe ... I don't really want to know.
I'll be adding some entries with some pendulum info I've gathered. I may back date them a bit, or not. Not sure yet. So, watch for them. Ok, that's all for the moment. I think.

ReplyDeletewhat do you mean by "they can be made to swing any which way we desire"? I have gotten answers I didn't want along with answers I never expected. Are you trying to tell me we can make them swing to get the answers we want vs. the real answers?
ReplyDeleteFirst....Let me assure you I am not making light of your use. What I wish to impart is how supposed divinatory 'tools' work. The hardest thing to learn when using divinatory devices is that they can...and will.....react to the sublimated levels of strong patterned thought.
ReplyDeleteI started reading cards and using other methods when I was about 18.
I don't use them except to teach others how they work off our subconscious. This used to get me in trouble with local psychics at various venues because I would point out general themes in gathered groups and prove how so-called 'readings' were mere interfaced collective thoughts projected by fear. One of my methods was to allow someone with a pendulum to offer a question and use their pendulum to divine an answer....then I'd ask them to repeat the procedure while merely concentrating on the pendulum causing it to reverse. This did not make me very popular with some of the 'newer' users nor the older ones who sold the pendulums claiming them infallible, yet helped others realize the need to understand their underlaying patterns and attitudes as the main sources of confusion.
I have taught a lot of women how channeling actually works and how to learn it over the years....it is directly relevant to your personal ability to encounter, set aside, and experience someone else's energy patterns....by understanding your own. In that sense....a pendulum can be of moderate assistance but is not completely trustworthy.
Hmmm ... this is indeed intriguing to me. I'd love to learn more about how all this works. I've noticed with a few recent questions that the answers turned out to be wrong. Very disappointing to me for sure.

ReplyDeletecorrect...and easily done..I've shown this to persons who thought their dowsing for wells was infallible....and helped a few of them just use their hands as a transition point to just their mind.

Yes...of course....the problem with us is we view our world through "trained cultural lenses" so peeling away the layers of conditioning is what transpires as we self-encounter through the 'spiritual' quest. These so-called psychic anomalies are merely extensions of our mental abilities to become familiar with curiosity and projection levels that we innately carry.
I had a good friend explain to me that the answers we get when using a tool like the pendulum, come from our higher selves, or over soul. This made sense to me... as an energy or soul of ourselves ... being able to see & understand what we can not yet see, process or understand. A guide, if you will. That the questions we ask, get answers guided by this high over soul energy.
ReplyDeleteI have asked about the supplements & herbs that I consume on a daily basis & whether or not they are the correct ones, & whether or not the dosage was correct, for me. By my way of thinking ... powers higher than my physical self guided me to the correct ones. By your way of thinking ... I already knew ... in my gut(?) which were right, wrong & the dose?
Your friend's assessment is a damned good one and I have said it the same way many times. The force we name 'soul' is both us and others. Much like a country has collective attitudes which further its agenda....so souls do the same.
ReplyDeleteThe mitigator can be viewed as the training the ego experiences, level of comprehension, acquired experience, and subsequent value placed. Once we begin releasing the static nature of our 'egoic training', so to coin, more open levels of information become accessible. there's a lot of this discussed on my blog.
